About Us
Welcome to the web site for Stourport Camera Club. First established in 1959 when five like minded enthusiasts began meeting at the White House pub. The club now meets, in the Methodist Church buildings in Parkes Passage which is behind the TSB Bank, at the top of the high street in Stourport.
Meetings are every Thursday from 7.45pm for an 8.00pm start. Finishing at around 10.00pm for normal club activities.
The last Friday of certain months, and announced at the Thursday meetings, is dedicated to be a digital evening where we avail ourselves of the use of modern digital techniques to use in our hobby.
We have regular monthly competitions, independently judged. We have talks and displays from noted local and sometimes international professionals, We have field trips. We have model sessions. We are also very actively involved in maintaining interest in slide shows as well as audio visual presentations.
